We need #NoNRAMoney volunteers on Saturday in DC, Parkland

We are asking volunteers who are willing to help hand out #NoNRAMoney placards at the March for Our Lives in DC and in Parkland.


In DC, there will be two meeting points for volunteers:


1. 1250 i Street NW Unit 330. The building is on the corner of i and 13th street. A volunteer will be there at Saturday at 10am.


2. Judiciary Square (F-street NW between 4th and 5th Street) at the Brady Campaign GVP Bus Drop Off and Staging Area on Saturday morning between 9-11am. (Thank you to Brady! 8 buses with over 400 Newtown students, teachers and parents will be arriving here--hopefully by 11am---PLEASE JOIN US!)

I would like to see an accounting of how much it cost tax payers to provide law makers on state, federal, and local levels with security. Our tax money provides them with as secure work place. Are they some sort of royalty? Why do they deserve a level of security not available to school children, church members, concert and night club patrons? Why to tax payers continue to pay for the protection of law makers that have no interest in providing their constituents any level of protection. If they really believe that providing guns to school employees, why do they continue to hide behind an army of trained professionals and metal detectors. Why not just give the politicians…
